Naidu, Pawan Kalyan and Jagan Extend Vinayaka Chavithi Greetings to Andhra Pradesh
Andhra Pradesh’s top political leaders came together in spirit on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi, with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy extending festive greetings to people across the state.
While their political positions remain sharply different, the festival saw all three leaders share messages centred on the blessings of Lord Ganesha, prosperity and the well-being of the people.
Chandrababu Naidu Offers Puja With Family
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu celebrated Vinayaka Chavithi with his family at his residence. He was joined by his wife N. Bhuvaneswari and grandson Devansh for the Ganapati puja.
Naidu said the festival represents wisdom, success and the removal of obstacles. He also prayed for the continued development and prosperity of Andhra Pradesh and wished happiness and prosperity for every family in the state.
The Chief Minister also appealed to people to preserve traditions while celebrating in an environmentally responsible manner, including through the use of clay Ganesha idols.
Pawan Kalyan Highlights Faith and New Beginnings
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan also conveyed his Vinayaka Chavithi wishes to the people.
Describing Ganesh Chaturthi as a celebration of faith, wisdom and new beginnings, Pawan Kalyan prayed for peace, good health, happiness and success in every household.
He also called for responsible celebrations that respect the environment and preserve the state’s cultural traditions.
Jagan Mohan Reddy Extends Greetings
Former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also wished people on the occasion.
Jagan invoked Lord Vighneshwara and Siddhi Vinayaka, praying for the removal of obstacles and the well-being of people across Andhra Pradesh.
Festival Brings Political Leaders Together
Vinayaka Chavithi is being celebrated across Andhra Pradesh with families and communities installing Ganesha idols and organising prayers and cultural programmes.
For Naidu, Pawan Kalyan and Jagan, the festival provided an opportunity to connect with people beyond political differences. Their separate messages focused on familiar themes of faith, prosperity, unity and the welfare of the state.
With Ganesh celebrations continuing across Andhra Pradesh, preparations for immersion processions and related traffic and security arrangements will also remain an important task for local authorities.
For a state where political disagreements often dominate public discourse, the festival offered a brief moment when the focus shifted from politics to faith, tradition and collective celebration.
